Kampfen Investment Services was founded by Pius Kampfen, a specialist in international and domestic private banking, money management and related financial services, including foreign exchange and precious metals. His 35 years of experience in the profession assures high standards for a select clientele.

Prior to forming the firm, Kampfen spent 17 years as the Senior Representative for Julius Baer Group on the US West Coast, a Swiss bank specializing in private banking and global and international money management for high net worth individuals, foundations and private corporations. Prior to joining Julius Baer, he worked for over 20 years for other Swiss financial corporations, including Union Bank of Switzerland, where he served as a portfolio manager for international clients.

Raised and educated in Switzerland, Pius moved to the Bay Area in 1976, residing in Mill Valley with his family. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Swiss-American Chamber of Commerce.
